| this past friday, my friend opened up her boutique store in the city (http://www.needretailtherapy.com). it is pretty cool how everyone my age is getting into entrepreneurship. the store is pretty awesome albeit it is only for gals. if i was a chick, i think i would dig the stuff they had =).
after the store closed down, my friends and i went to get some sushi. dude, the sushi joint rocked! i was really blown away by the fish...and the sake. we ordered a bottle of sake called houraisen kuu ($170 for a 170 mL bottle...that's exactly 1 buck per mL) and apparrently it is impossible to get in the states. the owner knows a guy from japan who knows this other guy who knows another guy that knows the owner of houraisen. the owner apparrently hooked up the sushi owner with a bunch of sake and smuggled it back to the state. anyways, if you guys ever get a chance to drink some sake by houraisen, you must do it. the bottle of kuu was very smooth and had a subtle sweetness to it. if any of you guys know more about that sake, leave me a comment.
after we closed down the sushi joint, we thanked the owner/chef for his crazy fish and sake. before we left, my friend noticed his watch on his wrist and asked about it. he said it was a patek. although he did not divulge the cost to his pretty watch, he said it was at least $15,000 (he later spilled the beans and said the watch has around $45,000!!! dude that's someone's salary on his wrist or a entry-level and fully loaded german car!). anyways, he started talking about his other watches (19 in total) and how he recently purchased a chopard in hong kong. anyways, if any of you guys are the city, you guys must check out this place.

dude, his trailer was huge!!! his movie set caused a massive
traffic jam near work but luckily i drove in early today to beat
it.
did a presentation on my work today. went really well. nobody was nodding off which is always good.
ran 11 miles on sunday and i hope to run another 3 tomorrow
morning. i'm hoping to run 20 miles in a couple of months.
my toes are getting really nasty. i may have to get another pair
shoes.
